Building Capacity to ‘Help the Helpers’
The Zip Code Assistance Ministries Organizational Development Program helps local ministries serve more of the hurting, poor and hungry in our community through ‘capacity building.’ Capacity building projects improve a nonprofit’s performance and impact and may include:
- Acquiring and upgrading new technology
- Creating financial management systems
- Designing volunteer recruitment and retention programs
- Developing a strong, effective board and
- Writing business plans for revenue-generating projects.
